The fourth round of 2019-20 Total CAF Confederation Cup group stage fixtures will take place this weekend.
All eight matches are scheduled for this coming Sunday with several teams perfectly poised to take the next step into the quarter-finals.
Group A leaders Pyramids FC have accumulated the most points after three rounds of fixtures, with the Egyptian club boasting a perfect 3/3 record.
Following a hard fought 2-1 win over league rivals Al-Masry in their most recent encounter, the big-spending club play host to the same opponents in Cairo in one of the standout fixtures of the weekend.
Last season’s runners-up, RS Berkane, top Group B with seven points, same amount accumulated by both Horoya and Hassania Agadir who sit atop Group C and D respectively.
The Guinean giants are away to Djoliba this weekend while Agadir take on FC San Pedro. Their Moroccan rivals, Berkane, take on Democratic Republic of Congo club DC Motema Pembe in Kinshasa.
Nigeria’s Austin Amutu (Al-Masry) and Mohamed Farouk (FC Pyramids) lead the scoring charts with three goals apiece after three rounds of group fixtures.
