Egypt will face Liberia in a friendly international prior to the start of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next month.
The match will be played on November 7 and will feature only the home-based players in the squad, before competitive meetings at home to Kenya at the start of the qualifiers on November 14, and away in the Comoros four days later.
The match will be a second in charge for new Egypt coach Hossam El Badry, who began his reign with a narrow 1-0 home victory over Botswana.
The home-based players are already in camp for the qualifiers after the Egypt Football Association suspended the domestic league to allow the country time to prepare for the Africa Under-23 Cup of Nations they will host from November 8-22.
That has had the added effect of giving El Badry more time to work with his local players, and arrange the friendly with Liberia.
The Liberians are led by English coach Peter Butler, who was previously in charge of Botswana.
