“We go to Zambia to win,” declared a confident Rohr.

“It will be difficult because Zambia have a good team and like the three other teams in our group, any one of us could qualify for the World Cup.

“We watched them against Kenya (in an AFCON qualifier last month) and the pitch in Ndola is not good, but it will be the same for both teams.”

The Franco-German coach said he expects late replacements for injured Victor Moses, Isaac Success and Leon Balogun to take their chance.

“We will be missing Balogun, Victor Moses and Isaac Success, but we’re a team and the other players will have their chance to show their qualities,” he said.

Uche Agbo from Granada CF as well as Nigeria league stars Chisom Egbuchulam and Godwin Obaje were the replacements for the injured call-ups.

The Super Eagles will play a test match against premier league club Plateau United this afternoon.
